A fellow of the World Federation of Orthodontists, Dr. Ivan Rodriguez Gelfenstein studied dentistry at the Central University of Venezuela and practiced dentistry and orthodontics in Venezuela for most of his career. He provided dental services at the Acosta Clinic in San Juan de los Morros, Guárico State, for a short time in the early 1990s, as well as for the Venezuelan Ministry of Education’s Institute of Social Welfare and Assistance (IPASME). Afterwards, Dr. Ivan Rodriguez Gelfenstein completed postgraduate studies in orthodontics at the Autonomous University of Tamaulipas in Mexico before returning to Venezuela.

From 1996 to 2003, he again worked at the Acosta Clinic, this time as an orthodontist. He also performed orthodontic procedures at clinics in Caracas and Maracay during this period, throughout which he balanced his time between the three practices. Dr. Gelfenstein later established himself in Caracas and served as a dentist and orthodontist at various offices until 2012. Additionally, he belongs the Sociedad Venezolana de Ortodoncia.

In his spare time, Dr. Ivan Gelfenstein enjoys going to the beach and playing softball and soccer. A fan of professional sports, he also likes attending National Basketball Association and Major League Baseball games.
